Creating Your Layer4 Wallet

Layer4 uses secure server-side key generation to create your blockchain wallet. Each user can have one wallet associated with their account. This guide will walk you through the process step by step.

Before You Begin

Before creating a wallet, ensure that:

• You have signed up for a Layer4 account
• You are logged into the platform
• You don't already have a Layer4 wallet (one wallet per user)

Creation Methods

There are two ways to create your Layer4 wallet:

Manual Creation

1. Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner
2. Select "Manage Profile"
3. Click the "Create Free Wallet" button
4. Wait for the wallet creation process to complete

Automatic Creation

Your wallet will be automatically created when you:

1. Receive your first workspace wallet connection request
2. Choose to either accept or decline the request
3. The system will create your wallet if you don't have one yet

Security Measures

Layer4 generates and secures your wallet keys on the server side, providing:

• Encrypted storage of wallet keys
• Server-side key generation for enhanced security
• Protection against client-side vulnerabilities
